This piece measures 10” diameter by 4.5” tall. The depth of grain and color in this piece of cedar is stunning. The heartwood in cedar varies from a pinkish color to deep purples to the deep maroon that you see in this piece. The contrast between the darker heartwood and the lighter colored sapwood is one of the wonderful characteristics of cedar. This piece has a satin interior sheen and a semi-gloss exterior sheen from the same, waterproof epoxy resin finish.
