Considered one of the American exotics, Black Walnut is prized by furniture and cabinet makers as well as woodturners. The delicious tones of walnut are enough, but often you get some wonderful grain movement and ripple as you can see in this piece. This is one of my Black series pieces due to multiple qualities coming together in the perfect combination. The proportion and shape of this piece befits the beauty of the wood itself.
