This piece measures 12” diameter by 5” tall. This piece shows the beautiful grain patterning typical of black walnut. It shows the movement known as “flame patterning” which occurs when wood is taken from a section of the tree where limbs grow into the trunk. The grain in these areas is especially beautiful.
